Dance Project: the School at City Arts recognizes that some students will require financial assistance in order to participate in dance classes. Therefore, a limited number of youth scholarships are available for those who qualify. Scholarship applications must be completed before the semester begins. Scholarships are good for one semester only and all scholarship recipients must reapply every semester.

All scholarship recipients must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. The student will be present in all classes unless they are sick or have a family event/emergency.

2. The student will be respectful to other students and their teacher.

3. The student will be dressed appropriately for class with the correct shoes and dance attire.

4. The students will be prompt and prepared for class. Lateness will not be tolerated.

Scholarship Deadlines for 2011-2012 are listed below.

Applications for the Fall Semester must be received between July 2-August 18, 2012.

Applications for the Spring Semester must be received between October 29-December 15, 2012.

Applications for the Summer Semester must be received between April 22-June8, 2012.

Scholarships are provided on a first come, first served basis. Scholarship applicants will be notified of their status the week before classes begin at the latest.

We offer opportunities for older youth (10+) and adult students to participate in work-study when it is advantageous to both parties. Please submit a letter of interest including a teacher reference, and your availability to danceprojecttheschool@gmail.com to be considered for this opportunity. Participants must have studied with us for at least 1 year to be considered for this opportunity. Interest submissions will be considered on a per semester basis.
