Performance Groups

Dance Project: the School at City Arts has 5 performance groups: Minis (5-6 yrs), Juniors (7-9 yrs), Tweens (10-12 yrs), Teens (13-18 yrs) and Adults (18+). These groups participate in weekly technique classes, rehearsals, and a multitude of community performances in venues such as retirement communities, schools, and local events and fairs. Below is a listing of upcoming events.



Tentative Spring 2013 schedule

Pillow Pops Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, Jan. 31st from 7:30-9pm (We will start at 8:00 and will likely be done earlier than 9, assuming that everyone is ON TIME and READY TO GO) Location: Bur-mil Park Clubhouse, 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd. Greensboro, NC 27410 – Look for Jennifer Hance when you arrive as Ms. Elizabeth will be coming from teaching and may not be there right at 7:30. (This concert is done in collaboration with City Arts Music; it is VERY important for performers to be in attendance to practice with the live musicians!)

Pillow Pops Concert: Sunday, February 3rd from 2-4/4:30pm (Show starts at 3pm) Location: Bur-mil Park Clubhouse, 5834 Bur-Mil Club Rd. Greensboro, NC 27410

Summer Camp Fair Community Performance of Mother Goose: Friday, March 1st from 5:45-7pm (Show at 6:30pm) Location: Cultural Center, 2nd floor in front of Green Hill, Meet in Studio 317 for warm up and costumes

Carolina Estates Performance of Mother Goose and Broadway Revue: Saturday, April 20th from 1-3pm (Show starts at 2pm) Location: 4434 Old Battleground Road, Greensboro, NC 27410

Heritage Greens Performance of Mother Goose and Broadway Revue: Saturday, May 18th from 1-3pm (Show starts at 2pm) Location: 801 Meadowood Street, Greensboro, NC 27409

Dance Project’s Annual Spring Showcase: Friday – Sunday, May 31st-June 2 – ALL OF THE SHOWS – TIMES TBA
